About G.
G. Matthews built a path to law that started long before law school. He returned to the Rocky Mountain region to earn a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2016 and has since anchored his practice in Colorado.
His academic record is broad. Before law, he completed an M.A. at the University of Delaware in 2007, studying economics and entrepreneurship for educators. He holds a B.S. from the University of North Dakota, awarded in 2001. Those earlier degrees inform how he evaluates cases and counsel: an analytical eye for numbers and an interest in practical outcomes for clients.
After law school, Matthews began practicing in Colorado. He works as a lawyer at Dimock Matthews LLC. He has taken cases and handled matters that require careful preparation and close attention to procedural detail. At the firm he contributes to client intake, case strategy, and courtroom filings, and he collaborates with colleagues on matters that cross practice areas.
Outside day-to-day practice, Matthews participates in professional organizations. He maintains membership in the Colorado Bar Association and in the Denver Bar Association. He is also a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Association. Those memberships provide regular access to continuing legal education and peer discussion on case law and trial practice. Colleagues describe him as engaged in the local bar community and willing to discuss developments in evidence, procedure, and criminal rules.
Clients and peers will find a lawyer whose training spans law, economics, and education. He applies that mix to litigation and case management in Colorado courts. He currently focuses his practice at Dimock Matthews LLC in Colorado.
