About Freddie
Freddie Alikhani earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law in 2020. His legal studies followed a period of steady preparation and coursework that led to his graduation in the spring of 2020. He entered the profession at a time of shifting legal needs and began building practical experience soon after earning his degree.
He is licensed to practice in California and has practiced in the state since completing his education. Early work brought him into client-facing roles where he handled routine motions, client counseling and negotiated resolutions. Those formative years gave him a sense of how courtroom procedure and client expectations fit together.
Alikhani joined Compass Legal Group, APC as a lawyer. At the firm he has represented individuals and businesses in matters that require careful fact-gathering and steady procedural work. His role involves drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing cases for hearings. Colleagues describe him as thorough in preparing the records that judges and opposing counsel rely on.
Outside of firm duties, he has been active in professional associations since 2021. He holds memberships in the Ventura County Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association, both since 2021. He also lists other professional memberships begun in 2021. Those affiliations have given him regular contact with local practitioners and opportunities to follow developments in state law and court rules.
His practice has required frequently updating his knowledge of state procedure and statutory changes. He appears in county courts and handles both contested and uncontested matters. Much of the work is practical. It requires clear documents, timely filings and steady calendar management. He focuses on delivering that kind of practical legal work rather than on courtroom spectacle.
Alikhani’s approach is to address each matter with an eye to process and detail. He accepts engagements that call for careful case management and consistent client communication. He continues to practice at Compass Legal Group, APC in California, where his current work centers on state-level civil matters and client representation in local courts.
