His legal education grounded him in state and federal procedure, evidence, and trial practice. He finished law school in the early 2010s and remained in South Carolina to build a practice.
He is a current member of the South Carolina Bar and is licensed to practice in the state. Early in his career he began handling civil matters and gradually concentrated on personal injury work. Over time he joined the team at The Derrick Law Office Injury Lawyers, PC, where he has handled a range of client matters and courtroom filings.

He represents people who have sustained serious injuries and pursues compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and related damages. He works on cases involving insurance disputes and negotiations as well as litigation when claims proceed to court.
He approaches each file with practical attention to detail. He prepares pleadings and discovery, consults with experts when needed, and manages settlement talks.
