About Frank Pola

Frank Pola Jr. earned his law degree from Tulane University School of Law after beginning his studies in 1976 and receiving his J.D. in 1980. He moved from the classroom into practice at a time when federal and territorial courts were shaping much of the nation's commercial and constitutional litigation. The law school years framed his approach to courtroom work and appellate argument.

He built a career that spans multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico and Louisiana and holds privileges in several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the First and Fifth Circuits. Those admissions suggest a practice that has involved both trial and appellate work across different legal forums. Colleagues describe him as an attorney who understands the differences among local practice rules and federal appellate procedure.

Much of his professional life has centered on contested litigation. He has handled matters that required appearances in district courts and on appeal. The ability to enter cases at the Supreme Court level reflects an attorney who has pursued the necessary admissions to appear before that tribunal. He has managed files that move from factual development in the trial court to legal argument on appeal, and he has worked in settings where regional circuit practice is an important factor.

In office and out, Pola has balanced courtroom time with case preparation and legal writing. He has prepared briefs for appellate panels and participated in hearings before federal judges. The record shows sustained involvement in matters that required careful attention to both procedural posture and substantive law. Clients and other lawyers have relied on his experience in navigating filings across different courts.

He maintains an office at El Centro II, Ste 260, where he meets with clients and manages ongoing matters. That office serves as a base for work in the jurisdictions where he is admitted. Over the years he has built a practice that operates across territorial and federal lines and that seeks to adapt to the procedural demands of each forum.

As of 2026 he continues to accept matters in the courts where he holds admission and to represent clients in proceedings that may include trial-level litigation and appellate briefing. He currently concentrates his practice on handling matters in the courts where he is admitted.
