About Frank
Frank Giunta trained first as a student of the sciences and then as a lawyer. He earned a B.A. from the University of North Dakota in 1973 and an M.S. from the University of Southern California in 1977. He turned to law soon after and received his J.D. from St. Mary s University School of Law in 1981.
After law school, Giunta built a practice centered on court work and trial litigation. He later founded Giunta Law, P.C., and has steered that firm through a career that spans more than four decades. The steps from classroom to courtroom were steady. He moved from academic study to a courtroom presence, developing a practice that has focused on contested civil matters and personal injury cases.
Giunta holds board certifications from the Texas Board Of Legal Specialization in two trial disciplines: Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law. Those certifications mark a credentialed place in the Texas trial bar. They also reflect an emphasis on courtroom procedure and jury trials rather than transactional work. Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in the courtroom.
His caseload has included the kinds of disputes that typically test evidentiary rules and trial strategy. He handles complex factual records and often works cases that require careful management of expert testimony. He has tried cases to verdict and worked on appeals arising from those trials. He has also overseen pretrial investigation and motion practice, balancing negotiations against the realities of trial when necessary.
Giunta has run his firm through changing legal and procedural landscapes. He has adapted practice systems to evolving rules of civil procedure and to changes in how medical and technical evidence is presented. The firm under his direction combines case intake and investigation with attention to how cases will be presented to judges and juries. He continues to represent clients in personal injury and civil trial matters and manages the practice at Giunta Law, P.C. while handling trial-level and pretrial litigation work.
