About Frank F.
Frank F. Voler graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1981 and earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1990. His education combines a service academy undergraduate degree and a formal legal education, a path that shaped the discipline and procedural rigor he brings to practice.
After law school, Voler established a practice that spans state and federal jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina and holds admission to the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, as well as to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients at trial and on appeal across multiple forums.
In 2010 he is recorded as a lawyer at Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban. That phase of his career placed him in a firm setting where he worked alongside other litigators and counsel on contested matters. Over the years his professional affiliations have included memberships in organizations oriented toward trial work and legal standards, such as the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Mecklenburg Trial Lawyers Association, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Voler also maintains membership in the South Carolina State Bar and the American Bar Association. These memberships indicate an ongoing engagement with the bar communities in both Carolinas and with national professional developments. He has navigated both trial dockets and appellate procedures and has continued to participate in association activities that address litigation practice and professional ethics.
Colleagues describe Voler as methodical in court preparation and deliberate in appellate briefing. He balances attention to procedural detail with a practical approach in courtroom settings. His background at the Naval Academy and subsequent legal training at UNC combine to produce a style that favors careful planning and clear presentation to judges and juries alike.
Today Frank F. Voler practices in the jurisdictions to which he is admitted and continues to work in both state and federal courts, maintaining memberships in regional and national bar and trial organizations. He currently concentrates his practice on matters brought in North Carolina and South Carolina and in the federal courts where he holds admission.
