About Francesco Paolo
Francesco Paolo Tini is an attorney who built his legal career through a mix of courtroom work and court service. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dowling College in 2000, followed by a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2002. He completed his Juris Doctor at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2006.
After law school, Tini moved into private practice and into roles that placed him inside the court system. He became principal of Tini & Associates, P.C. in 2006. Several years later he served as Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Stephen Behar, J.S.C., in 2012 at the New York State Supreme Court. He returned to private practice and has been principal of Tini Law, P.C. since 2015.
Tini is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the federal courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He holds certifications relevant to court-appointed work: he is part of the Assigned Counsel Defender Plan in Suffolk County and is listed under New York OCA Part 36 as a fiduciary. Those credentials allow him to accept appointed defense matters and to handle appointed fiduciary responsibilities in court-supervised proceedings.
His involvement in professional organizations spans local and regional bar groups. He has been a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association since 2006 and joined the Nassau County Bar Association more recently. He is also a member of the New York County Lawyers Association since 2019. Outside the bar associations, he serves on the Board of Directors of Patronato INCA USA, an organization he joined in 2018.
Tini’s career shows movement between advocacy and court administration. The clerkship provided exposure to judicial decision-making and case management. His practice experience, both at Tini & Associates and at Tini Law, P.C., reflects steady leadership of small-firm operations and handling of matters that arise through court appointments.
Colleagues describe him as experienced in the procedural demands of appointed cases and in fiduciary assignments. He remains active in bar association activities and in community-focused nonprofit governance. He practices at Tini Law, P.C., where his work includes court-appointed defense matters and fiduciary proceedings.
