About Finn Walter
Finn Walter Dusenbery followed a straightforward path into the law. He earned a B.A. from Columbia University in 2008 and completed his J.D. at Brooklyn Law School in 2012. Those years set the foundation for a practice rooted in New York courts and workplace issues.
After law school, Dusenbery moved into employment law. He joined Ottinger Employment Lawyers and built his practice around the disputes that shape everyday working life. He has worked on matters that arise under both state and federal statutes and on the contractual conflicts that too often end up in court.
Dusenbery’s day-to-day work mixes litigation and counseling. He prepares pleadings and briefs, handles discovery, and argues motions. He also meets with clients to map out strategy, negotiate settlements and advise on employment-related questions before they escalate. The role requires both attention to detail and the willingness to press claims when negotiations fail.
He is admitted to practice in New York. That jurisdiction is where he argues cases and files claims. His work requires keeping current on changes in labor regulations and case law that affect wages, workplace protections and employer obligations.
At Ottinger Employment Lawyers Dusenbery is part of a team that represents individuals and businesses in employment disputes. He works from the firm’s New York offices and participates in litigation, mediation and pre-litigation counseling. He currently practices employment law in New York.
