About Feliz MariSol
Feliz MariSol Martone began her legal journey after completing a B.A. in English and Spanish at Santa Clara University in 1996 and earning her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2002. She followed law school with practical training and early work that prepared her for a career in administrative and federal practice. Those academic years solidified her grounding in written and oral communication, tools she would use in hearings and appeals.
She joined the State Bar of New Mexico in 2005 and is admitted to practice in New Mexico. She is also authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Over the next several years she built courtroom and administrative experience that would shape the contours of her practice.
Martone’s early professional years included a role as an associate lawyer at Law & Resource Planning Associates, P.C., beginning in 2005. Two years later she moved to Martone Law Office, P.A., where she served as managing lawyer starting in 2007. In 2021 she became owner of Martone Law Office, a step that formalized her leadership of the firm and its caseload. Her career path shows steady progression into roles with greater responsibility and client contact.
Her practice has long involved Social Security matters. She holds memberships in organizations that reflect that work: the New Mexico Social Security Lawyers since 2011 and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives since 2008. She has also been a member of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce since 2022 and remains active in the State Bar of New Mexico.
Colleagues and clients describe a lawyer who handles administrative hearings, claim filings, and appeals in federal court. Her background in English and Spanish informed her communication style and helped when preparing written submissions and presenting testimony. She handles the procedural and substantive steps that Social Security claimants face, from initial applications to appeals before administrative law judges and federal courts.
She runs Martone Law Office, P.A., where she oversees case strategy, client communication, and courtroom representation. Martone currently concentrates her practice on Social Security disability claims, administrative hearings, and appeals in both state and federal forums.
