About Felicia
Felicia Santillan earned her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1999. She completed her legal studies after entering law school in the mid-1990s and moved quickly into practice in the Appalachian region. Her education at WVU provided a foundation in trial procedure and statutory interpretation that has informed her work ever since.
After law school, Santillan entered practice in West Virginia and later gained admission to the Pennsylvania bar as well. Over the years she has worked on matters that required familiarity with the procedural rules and court systems in both states. She has represented clients in hearings and in negotiations, and she has spent time drafting pleadings, preparing for trials, and managing the logistical demands of litigation.
Colleagues describe her as practical and steady in the courtroom. She tends to prioritize clear explanation for clients and careful preparation for each appearance. Her experience includes courtroom advocacy, client counseling, and the routine legal work that supports a case from intake through resolution. She has handled matters for individuals and small businesses, and she has experience coordinating discovery and working with experts when cases required technical input.
Santillan also maintains an interest in the procedural side of practice. She pays close attention to filing deadlines, evidence rules, and local court practices. That attention to detail has been important in multi-jurisdiction matters where timelines and requirements do not always align. She adapts filings and strategy to meet local rules while keeping the client’s objectives front and center.
She currently practices at Santillan Law Office. From that base she handles matters in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania, providing state-court representation, legal counsel to clients navigating disputes, and the everyday legal services that individuals and small enterprises require.
