About Eydie R.
Eydie R. Glassman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1996 and completed her Juris Doctor at Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1999. Those years set the foundation for a practice that blends law, economics and analytical training.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Early in her career she moved into private practice and, in 2002, became Principal and President of the office operating under the name Eydie R. Vanderbosch, Esq. She has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 2002 and maintains professional standing in state legal circles.
Glassman has pursued additional coursework aimed at quantitative and economic analysis. Through the University of Illinois Coursera offerings she completed programs in Exploring and Producing Data for Business Decision Making, Inferential and Predictive Statistics for Business, and two firm-level economics courses covering markets, allocations, consumer behavior and producer behavior. Those studies inform the way she approaches case assessment and client counseling.
Her practice history includes management of small law offices that offer both litigation and consulting services. The office names associated with her work are Eydie R. Glassman Esq. Legal & Consulting Services, LLC and Chicago Divorce Lawyer Eydie R. Vanderbosch Esq. Those names reflect a mix of legal representation and advisory work. Her matters have included family law and divorce cases, handled through those entities and in appropriate court venues.
Admission to the Seventh Circuit allows her to handle appeals that arise from trial-level matters she or colleagues bring forward. She balances courtroom representation with consultative tasks tied to financial and economic issues in disputes. The additional statistical and economics training supports that blend of tasks and helps in framing settlement discussions and evidentiary strategy.
Colleagues and clients have known her as a lawyer who combines legal training with an interest in economic analysis and data. She continues to operate her legal and consulting practices in the Chicago area and handles family law, divorce and related consulting matters through Eydie R. Glassman Esq. Legal & Consulting Services, LLC and the Chicago Divorce Lawyer Eydie R. Vanderbosch Esq. office.
