About Evan Charles
Evan Charles Pappas combines an early interest in the environment with a steady legal career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Lehigh University in 1994 and completed his J.D. at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2003. Those years shaped both the questions he asks and the causes he pursues.
After law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Timothy J. Savage in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. That courtroom experience came immediately after graduation and gave him a close view of federal practice and judicial decision-making. He went on to build a practice that spans state lines and legal communities.
Pappas is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He maintains memberships in the Pennsylvania State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar, as well as in local organizations including the Cumberland County Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association. He has been active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 2005.
Outside the courtroom, Pappas has maintained a steady presence on nonprofit boards. He joined the board of the Clean Air Council in 2005 and remains on that board. He also has served on the board of Crime Stoppers of Central Pennsylvania since 2006. Between 2009 and 2013 he served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg. Those roles reflect long-term involvement in civic and environmental issues.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to cases and deliberate in community work. He has worked across matters that require coordination among state agencies, local governments, and private parties. His dual admissions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey allow him to advise clients whose matters cross state lines.
Pappas practices at Tucker Arensberg, P.C., where he applies his background to the legal matters that come through the firm. He remains engaged in bar activities and local boards while serving clients in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He handles legal matters arising in Pennsylvania and New Jersey from his position at Tucker Arensberg, P.C.
