About Erin Walker
Erin Walker Nations earned her law degree from Nashville School Of Law. She began her legal career in the local courts and has combined courtroom work with public service ever since.
Her first post after law school was a clerkship with the Williamson County Circuit Court judges in 2007. That early exposure to trial-level practice informed her next moves. She joined Sidwell & Barrett as a lawyer in 2010 and took on responsibilities that included courtroom appearances and client counseling. In 2013 she served as a special magistrate for Williamson County Juvenile Court, deciding matters that required careful factual review and clear legal reasoning.
In 2014 Nations became a partner at Beal, Nations & Crutcher. That role expanded her practice responsibilities and placed her in a leadership position at the firm. Outside the firm she has been active in civic affairs. Voters elected her to the Williamson County Commission in 2018, and she has served on that body since then.
Her bar memberships reflect a practice that spans local and national forums. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee and has been a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar since 2015. She has held membership in the Williamson County Bar Association since 2010. Early in her career she served as president of the Young Lawyers of Williamson County from 2010 to 2011, and she belonged to an American Inns of Court chapter from 2013 until 2015.
Colleagues and civic leaders describe her background as one that bridges public service and private practice. Her experience covers magistrate duties, trial work, and elected office. She has handled matters that require interacting with county institutions and state courts, and she brings that practical knowledge to client matters at her firm.
Nations divides her time between legal work and responsibilities on the county commission. At Beal, Nations & Crutcher she carries a partner’s responsibilities for case management and client representation. Her current practice combines private litigation and local government work at the firm.
