About Erica

Erica Rubin built a steady path into the law through formal study and early practical training. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Central Florida, earning a B.S. in Legal Studies in 2018 after beginning her program in 2014. She then enrolled at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and received her J.D. in 2021.

Her time in law school coincided with a period of rapid change across the legal profession. Rubin finished her formal education as courts and firms adjusted to new procedural realities. She left law school prepared to step into client work and courtroom procedures that were themselves evolving.

After passing the necessary licensing requirements, Rubin moved into practice. She joined Vette Law, PLLC, where she has handled a range of matters under the supervision and alongside more experienced colleagues. Her early years in practice have involved drafting pleadings, meeting with clients, and participating in hearings and negotiations. Those tasks have given her day-to-day familiarity with case preparation and the practical demands of litigation and client representation.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She tends to break problems down into manageable steps and focuses on the procedural details that often determine the course of a matter. That kind of discipline is useful whether a case resolves at an early stage or proceeds through a contested hearing. Rubin has developed practical skills in legal research, motion drafting, and client communication.

Clients and peers also note that Rubin adapts to varied factual settings. She has worked on matters that require attention to record-keeping and strict deadline management. That work has exposed her to both courthouse practice and office-based client counseling. Over time she has taken on more responsibility for managing pieces of cases from intake through resolution.

Outside the office she maintains ties to the region where she trained. Her educational path, from the University of Central Florida to Barry University, keeps her connected to local legal networks and to practitioners who work in the same courts and agencies.

Rubin is currently an attorney at Vette Law, PLLC, where she handles client advocacy and litigation matters as part of the firms practice.
