Eric Stephen Pommer is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1977. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Pommer is the principal attorney at Eric S. Pommer PC, a law firm located in Ventura, California. He has been practicing law for over four decades, serving clients throughout Ventura County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Pommer earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, formerly known as Western State University College of Law, where he graduated with honors in 1977. During his time in law school, he received American Jurisprudence Awards in several subjects and served as the Comments Editor for the inaugural issue of the Criminal Justice Journal. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Pomona College in 1969. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1989.
Mr. Pommer's practice areas encompass business law, contracts, corporate and incorporation matters, government contracts, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, intellectual property, securities offerings, federal regulation, partnership, debt and lending agreements, employment and labor, consumer law, and international law. He has experience in various legal stages, including litigation, negotiations, and trials. His extensive background allows him to provide comprehensive legal services to a diverse clientele.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pommer has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also been recognized as an expert in Corporations Law by the Superior Court in Ventura County. In addition to his legal practice, he has served as Vice President and General Counsel for Technoconcepts and has worked in corporate contracts management for Martin Marietta and Abex Aerospace. Since 1991, he has been a member of the faculty at the Southern California Institute of Law, teaching courses such as Business Organizations, Wills & Trusts, Critical Thinking, and Litigation Skills.
Mr. Pommer is an active member of the California State Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has been recognized as an expert in Corporations Law by the Superior Court in Ventura County. He is also a member of the California Lawyers Association. Mr. Pommer is fluent in German, enabling him to serve a broader range of clients effectively.
