About Eric S.
Eric S. Steele trained first as a student of the humanities and then turned to the law. He earned a B.A. in Classics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2015 and completed his J.D. at the University of Denver in 2021. The shift from ancient literature to contemporary litigation informed the way he thinks about argument and evidence.
Soon after law school he became active in Colorado’s trial bar. He joined the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association in 2019 and took membership in the State Bar of Colorado in 2021. A year later he gained membership in the State Bar of Texas, and in 2023 he began participating in the Colorado Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association. Those affiliations have shaped the kinds of matters he accepts and the professional network he draws on for case strategy and court practice.
Steele practices at Arckey & Associates, LLC. He works on matters arising in both Colorado and Texas and handles disputes that often reach the litigation stage. His work includes asserting workplace claims on behalf of employees and guiding those matters through pretrial proceedings. He has experience drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and preparing evidence for hearings.
