About Eric S

Eric S Meredith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University in 2007. The degree came at a time when he was already thinking about the law and public affairs. He stayed in North Carolina after college and built a practice rooted in the state’s courts and communities.

Meredith moved into private practice soon after his studies. In 2009 he became managing partner at Jetton Meredith, PLLC. Over the years the firm has operated under the Jetton & Meredith name and he has remained in a leadership role. That early elevation to management gave him hands-on experience running a small firm while handling a steady caseload.

He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and holds memberships in several professional groups tied to family law and trial practice. Those memberships include the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Family Law Section and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers Family Law Section. He is also part of the academy’s Young Lawyer Division and the Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyer’s Division. In the local legal community he has taken on administrative responsibilities as well; he serves as treasurer of the Charlotte Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Meredith mixes professional association work with civic activity. He belongs to Kiwanis International and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. He is also listed as a member of the Elon University School of Law Alumni Association, reflecting connections to legal education networks in the region. These ties inform the day-to-day practice and provide a steady source of local referrals and contacts.

His practice has a clear emphasis on matters that often bring clients into family court and trial settings. The combination of family law section memberships and involvement in trial lawyer groups suggests regular courtroom work and contested hearings. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in client matters and attentive to the mechanics of litigation and case management.

Today Meredith continues to work at Jetton & Meredith, PLLC, where he handles cases that require courtroom experience and family law knowledge. He divides his time between representing clients in contested family law matters and managing the firm’s operations, and he focuses his current practice on family law and trial work at Jetton & Meredith, PLLC.
