About Eric L.
Eric L. Boehmer earned his law degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 1997 after completing undergraduate studies in business administration at Furman University in the mid-1990s. He entered the legal profession at a time when Missouri’s courts were handling shifts in both criminal sentencing and local prosecutorial practices. That early classroom and campus training set the stage for a career that has moved between public service and private practice.
His first public-posting experience came in St. Charles, where he served as an assistant prosecuting lawyer in 2000. The role offered him regular courtroom exposure and an inside view of how cases are prepared and presented on behalf of the state. He joined The Missouri Bar Association the same year, beginning a long-running affiliation with the state’s organized bar.
In the years after his work as a prosecutor, Boehmer transitioned into private practice. He established Boehmer Law, LLC, where he is the owner and principal attorney.
