About Eric Joseph
Eric Joseph Garofano built his legal career steadily and deliberately. He graduated from Albany Law School and entered private practice soon after. He holds admissions in Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York, and he has spent the bulk of his professional life at one firm.
Garofano joined Conway, Londregan, Sheehan & Monaco, P.C. as an associate in 2013. He worked his way through a variety of courtroom and office responsibilities. Over the next decade he handled litigation tasks, client counseling and case preparation that led to his elevation to partner in 2023. The promotion marked a shift in responsibilities. He began mentoring junior attorneys and taking on greater oversight of complex matters.
Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and deliberate at the conference table. He is the kind of lawyer who prepares quietly and relies on thorough work rather than showmanship. That approach fits the culture of a firm that handles contested matters across state lines. Garofano’s admissions in three jurisdictions reflect a practice that crosses regional boundaries and requires understanding of differing procedural rules.
Beyond firm work, Garofano has been active in professional circles since 2014. He has maintained memberships that keep him engaged with peers and developments in law. Those ties feed into his daily work, offering practical perspectives on appellate timeframes, discovery battles and trial strategy. He does not seek the spotlight. Instead he contributes through regular case work and the exchange of ideas with other lawyers.
Education set the foundation for his practice. Albany Law School provided coursework and clinics that introduced him to litigation fundamentals. He carried those lessons into his early years at the firm, where hands-on experience expanded his skill set. Over time, that combination of formal study and practical training produced a lawyer comfortable in both negotiation and courtroom settings.
Today Garofano is a partner at Conway, Londregan, Sheehan & Monaco, P.C. He continues to handle client matters across Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York, supervises case development and works closely with colleagues on strategy. He currently practices at Conway, Londregan, Sheehan & Monaco, P.C., where he handles a range of matters on behalf of clients.
