About Eric J.

Eric J. Garber earned a B.S. in Business Economics from the University of Florida in 2008 and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012. He completed the traditional course of study and entered private practice soon after graduation. His academic background combines business training and legal education, a pairing that has informed his approach to client matters.

He began his legal career as an associate at Wargo & French, LLP in 2012. Two years later he moved to Coleman, Chambers, Rogers & Williams, LLP, continuing in associate-level roles and gaining courtroom and case-management experience. He later joined Hamil Little, where he now practices. The sequence of firms traces a steady progression through litigation-oriented environments.

Garber is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and has held that membership since 2015. He also serves on the advisory boards of Age Friendly Augusta and Friends of the Augusta Library. Those roles place him in civic and professional circles outside the day-to-day demands of litigation. They also reflect an ongoing connection to the Augusta community and its institutions.

Colleagues describe Garber as a lawyer who spends time preparing cases for trial and working through discovery and motion practice. He has experience handling matters in Georgia courts and collaborates with other attorneys on complex litigation tasks. His work draws on courtroom procedures, client interviews, and evidence development rather than on transactional drafting or corporate governance alone.

At Hamil Little he represents clients in litigation matters across Georgia. He balances courtroom time and client counseling, and he continues to participate in professional and community boards. He handles trial and civil litigation matters at Hamil Little.
