Eric I. Gutierrez is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Gutierrez is a partner at Curtis Legal Group, a personal injury law firm with offices in Modesto, Sacramento, Stockton, and Fresno, California. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout Northern and Central California.

Mr. Gutierrez earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated with distinction and was a member of the Traynor Honor Society. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of the Pacific, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1998. During his time at McGeorge, he worked at the Victims of Crime Resource Center, providing legal services and resources to victims and their families throughout California.

Mr. Gutierrez concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, including cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, dog bites, medical malpractice, and product liability. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and premises liability claims. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Gutierrez has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Stanislaus, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Curtis Legal Group, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Modesto for five years.

Mr. Gutierrez is an active member of the California State Bar and the Stanislaus County Bar Association. He holds membership in the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Wray Ladine American Inn of Court. He is also involved in his local community as the Secretary for the Latino Business Association Foundation, a community-driven organization that supports non-profit organizations in the Latino community. Mr. Gutierrez is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Northern and Central California effectively.
