About Eric A.
Eric A. McEnerney studied business and law before beginning his legal career in Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University in 2007 and a J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2011. Those years laid the groundwork for a practice that blends courtroom experience and bench-side observation.
While still in law school, McEnerney gained practical exposure to military and judicial settings. He spent a summer in 2009 as a JAG 1L intern with the U.S. Army. That same period included a research assistantship for Andrew J. McClurg, then Herff Chair of Excellence in Law and Associate Dean. He later served as a judicial extern in 2010 for Judge Holly Kirby and in 2011 for Federal Magistrate Judge Tu M. Pham. The externships offered him direct insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedure.
After law school, McEnerney moved into plaintiff-side practice. In 2011 he worked at The Frager Law Office, P.C., and the following year he joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers. Those early roles consolidated his courtroom experience and introduced him to the practical demands of client advocacy and case management. He has worked in Tennessee throughout his career.
Colleagues describe McEnerney as methodical in his approach to litigation. He has been involved in case investigation, drafting pleadings, and preparing matters for trial and settlement negotiations. His background — combining military legal work, academic research, and judicial observation — informs how he prepares a file and presents facts in court. He applies the procedural lessons learned during his externships to everyday litigation tasks.
McEnerney practices at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers. He handles civil litigation and personal injury matters in Tennessee courts. His work includes client interviews, discovery, motion practice, and courtroom appearances. He continues to build his practice through litigation and case work in the state.
He currently represents clients in personal injury matters in Tennessee.
