About Ellen Anna
Ellen Anna Wright earned her law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2006 after completing dual bachelor’s degrees at Salem State College in business administration and criminal justice in 1996. She combined legal study with an earlier background in accounting, a path that shaped the early contours of her career. Her academic record reflects both courtroom interests and financial training.
Her first paid legal work came as a paralegal in 2002 at the Law Offices of Michael D. Tracey. She later served as a law clerk and office manager in 2005 for the Law Offices of Raymond J. Paczkowski, a role that gave her day-to-day exposure to case preparation and firm administration. Before turning fully toward law, Wright worked as an audit associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000, where she gained practical experience in financial review and compliance practices that would later inform her work as a lawyer.
Wright is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is also admitted to the D.C. Circuit. She is a Certified Public Accountant under the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy, a credential that she has carried into her legal practice. That combination of legal and accounting qualifications positions her to handle matters that intersect finance and litigation, including guardianship accounting, estate matters, and disputes that require forensic understanding of financial records.
Her professional affiliations are wide-ranging. She holds memberships in the Middlesex County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Greater Lowell Bar Association. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Massachusetts Association of Guardians ad Litem. Those memberships reflect an interest in trial work and in the court-appointed representation of vulnerable parties.
Wright has remained active in community and volunteer legal services. She functions as a volunteer conciliator for the Middlesex County Bar Association and has participated in the Middlesex County Lawyer for the Day Program. She serves as a volunteer lawyer for the Living Waters Center for Hope, and she has ties to the Tewksbury Rotary. These roles have kept her connected to both local needs and day-to-day court operations.
Her practice builds on both her JD and her CPA credential. She handles litigation, guardianship and estate-related matters, and other cases that require a blend of legal analysis and financial literacy. Her current practice includes civil litigation, guardianship matters and representation in matters involving accounting and financial issues.
