About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Vogel took a circuitous path to law. She earned a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University, then moved on to Loyola University Chicago School of Law for her J.D. The combination of social-science training and legal education shaped how she approaches problems: attentive to context, attentive to people and to rules.
After law school Vogel entered practice in Illinois. She joined Taradash Given, P.C. as an associate in 2022. Colleagues describe her as methodical and steady in the office. She arrived at the firm with classroom experience and launched into day-to-day practice, taking on research, drafting and client work under senior supervision as she refined courtroom and transactional skills.
Membership in the State Bar of Illinois followed her admission to practice. That association keeps her connected to developments in state law and to the bar community. In professional settings she participates in CLE offerings and firm-level case preparation. Those activities have been part of her routine since she began at Taradash Given.
Her academic background informs her work. The undergraduate study of human development helps her to frame client problems beyond legal texts. Her law training at Loyola provided the doctrinal foundation and practical training expected of new attorneys. Together, those educational experiences make her comfortable handling detailed legal research and preparing written arguments.
Vogel’s early years at the firm have been focused on learning through practice. As an associate she has handled a range of assignments assigned by partners, from factual development to drafting pleadings and briefs. She has worked alongside trial counsel and participated in settlement discussions and pretrial preparations. Those responsibilities reflect a junior attorney’s path toward wider case responsibilities.
Outside the office Vogel’s public profile is quiet. She maintains her bar membership and contributes to the firm’s internal workstreams. She has not publicly taken on leadership roles in professional organizations, and she does not have a publicly listed record of publications or judicial clerkships.
As of 2026 Vogel continues to practice at Taradash Given, P.C., practicing law in Illinois and building her experience at the firm. Her current practice focuses on matters handled by the firm.
