About Elizabeth Rankin
Elizabeth Rankin Powell is a Tacoma-based attorney specializing in landlord-tenant disputes, real property matters, and related legal areas. She has been practicing law in Washington State for over 26 years. Her office is located at 535 Dock Street, Suite 108, Tacoma, WA 98402. Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1996.
Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Whitman College in 1979. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has focused on landlord-tenant disputes, real property issues, and related legal areas. She has been recognized with the Silver Client Champion award, granted to attorneys who have received at least three client reviews with an average score of 4.0 or higher. Elizabeth is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
She is admitted to practice before the Washington State Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. She is also a member of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys hiking in the Pacific Northwest and volunteering with local community organizations.
She is also an avid reader and participates in a local book club.
