About Elizabeth Marie
Elizabeth Marie Link is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1989. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Link is the CEO and founder of the Center for Conflict Resolution and Leadership, a position she has held since 2015. The Center is located in Lexington, Kentucky, where she serves clients throughout the region.
Ms. Link earned her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in 1988. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Cincinnati, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1985. During her time at The George Washington University Law School, she was involved in various legal clinics and activities, which laid the foundation for her future career in dispute resolution.
Ms. Link specializes in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. She has experience handling complex commercial, business, employment, real estate, divorce, family law, and personal injury disputes. Her practice encompasses all stages of dispute resolution, including initial case evaluation, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and, when necessary, litigation. She has represented clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitration settings.
Throughout her career, Ms. Link has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before various state courts in California. Prior to founding the Center for Conflict Resolution and Leadership, she worked as a litigation associate at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP and Long & Levit, where she gained extensive experience in complex commercial litigation.
Ms. Link is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and the UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, teaching courses on negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. She is also a certified conflict coach and has been involved in various community initiatives aimed at promoting conflict resolution skills and leadership development.
