About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Krukova earned her law degrees at Indiana University, completing an LL.M. at Indiana University–Bloomington. She pursued graduate legal study after initial legal training, a step that broadened her academic grounding and prepared her for multi-jurisdictional practice. Those studies also gave her a platform for continuing professional work across several states and the District of Columbia.
Krukova is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and New York. Over the years she has built a practice that operates across those jurisdictions, handling matters that require a familiarity with different court systems and administrative procedures. Her multi-jurisdictional admissions allow her to represent clients in matters arising in state and federal forums in the Mid-Atlantic and New York.
Her professional memberships include the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association. She maintains active involvement in those groups and takes part in the continuing legal education and professional networks they provide. The mix of affiliations reflects engagement with both immigration-law practitioners and trial lawyers, and it signals regular contact with practitioners who handle litigation and administrative advocacy.
Krukova is currently associated with National Capital Legal Services. There she works on cases that require coordination across administrative and courtroom settings. Her practice combines elements common to immigration representation and trial-level civil work. She appears for clients in agency proceedings and in trials when cases require litigation skills. She currently practices immigration and trial work at National Capital Legal Services.
