About Elizabeth Beason
Elizabeth Beason Moore earned her law degree from The University of Mississippi School of Law in 1995 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alabama in 1992. She arrived in law school with a traditional liberal arts background and left with a clear grounding in courtroom procedure and statutory analysis. Those formative years shaped how she approaches cases today: methodical, fact-driven and attentive to detail.
Her early career was spent developing courtroom experience and familiarity with both state and federal procedures. Over time she joined Martinson & Beason, where she has worked alongside colleagues handling a mix of matters that require filings and arguments in multiple jurisdictions. The firm environment gave her chances to handle pretrial strategy, draft dispositive motions and appear in hearings before judges in city and federal courthouses.
Moore is admitted to practice in Alabama and holds federal admissions in the 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Those admissions allow her to take cases that move between state venues and federal court. She has used that jurisdictional reach to manage cases that involve both procedural complexity and varied timelines for discovery and briefing.
Outside the courtroom she has remained engaged in the legal community. She maintains memberships in the Alabama Bar Association and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association. Locally, she also serves on the board of the Huntsville Botanical Garden, a role that involves governance work and public outreach rather than legal advocacy. Those commitments reflect an interest in civic and professional institutions and regular contact with peers.
Colleagues describe Moore as steady in court and thorough in preparation. Her work at Martinson & Beason has required balancing pleadings and client communications while meeting court deadlines across several jurisdictions. She has handled the practical tasks of litigation from initial intake through motion practice and hearings. Her practice centers on matters brought in state and federal courts.
