About Elizabeth A.
Elizabeth A. Warren built a legal foundation on study and practice rather than publicity. She earned a J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2013, where she concentrated in mediation and family law. Before law school she completed a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs at The Ohio State University, awarded in 2001. Her undergraduate work at Miami University of Ohio resulted in a Bachelor of Philosophy in 1997, with a minor in women’s studies.
Her academic path points toward people-centered work. The mediation and family law concentration in law school foreshadowed a career spent in family and juvenile matters. After finishing law school she formed her own practice. In 2013 she launched Elizabeth Warren, Esq. LLC and has practiced through that firm since.
Practice has included courtroom appearances and negotiated settlements. She participates in several Columbus Bar Association committees tied to her fields: family law, juvenile law and alternative dispute resolution. Those memberships, maintained since 2013, keep her connected to local peers and current procedural developments. She has balanced time between mediation sessions and client representation in family court, moving between negotiation and litigation as cases required.
Colleagues describe her as methodical and practical in handling sensitive issues. She favors clear communication and a steady approach when clients face custody disputes, support calculations or the emotional strain of separation. Her training in higher education and student affairs also informs how she works with younger clients and families, bringing an awareness of developmental and institutional issues that often arise in juvenile cases.
Running a small firm has meant handling many aspects of practice beyond casework. Administrative choices, client intake and local networking have been part of the daily routine since the firm’s founding. She has used committee participation within the Columbus Bar Association to stay current on changes to juvenile procedures and alternative dispute resolution practices.
She continues to operate Elizabeth Warren, Esq. LLC in Ohio, where she manages family law cases, conducts mediations and represents clients in juvenile matters. Her current practice focuses on family law, mediation and juvenile cases.
