About Elizabeth A.

Elizabeth A. Clark grew up studying the rules that shape property and business. She turned that interest into a legal education that spans state and federal tax work. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Wilmington College in 2007, completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Montana School of Law in 2012, and added an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 2016.

After law school she began practice in Montana. Her first position was as an associate at Terrazas Law Offices in 2012. She remained with that group as it evolved, taking a role at Terrazas Clark Henkel, PC in 2017 where she served as a lawyer handling matters for individual and small business clients. In 2018 she moved to Bjornson Jones Mungas, PLLC as an associate. The sequence shows a steady progression from entry-level associate work to responsibilities that involve tax and estate planning questions.

Her LL.M. in taxation informs much of the work she takes on. Clark handles matters that commonly intersect tax and estate law: drafting and administering trusts, probate work, and advising clients on tax implications of asset transfers. She appears in files that require attention to both state probate procedures and federal tax rules. Her training makes her a resource for clients who need clear answers about how taxes affect succession and business transitions.

Clark is licensed to practice in Montana and is active in local professional circles. Since 2016 she has been a member of the Western Montana Estate Planning Council, attending meetings and programs that focus on evolving issues in estate planning practice. Her day-to-day practice involves counseling individuals and families, preparing estate planning documents, and assisting executors and trustees through administration tasks.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in document drafting and careful in tax calculations. She aims to present options plainly, so clients can make informed choices about wills, trusts, and business succession. Outside client files she reviews changes in tax law and probate rules that can affect estate plans.

She is based at Bjornson Jones Mungas, PLLC, where she represents clients on estate planning, probate, and tax-related matters. Her current practice focuses on estate planning and tax issues.
