About Eliza

Eliza Ghanooni built her legal foundation on two distinct West Coast campuses. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, then went on to receive her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Those years shaped her approach to law: study grounded in theory and practice tested in the classroom.

She entered the legal profession after law school and maintained ties to professional organizations along the way. She holds current membership in the California Bar Association and belongs to the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers. Those affiliations signal the professional circles she moves in and the areas of law she follows closely.

Ghanooni’s work has centered on consumer bankruptcy and related financial matters. Over time she developed practical experience representing individuals facing insolvency, advising on debt relief options, and guiding clients through court procedures. Her day-to-day work is procedural and client-facing. It involves gathering financial information, preparing filings, and explaining the practical consequences of different bankruptcy chapters to clients who often are confronting difficult circumstances.

Colleagues and clients note her steady courtroom presence and attention to case details. She approaches each matter by breaking it into steps. She prepares the paperwork, meets deadlines, and presents the needed documents in court. That methodical approach matters in bankruptcy work, where timing and accuracy affect outcomes.

Ghanooni runs the Ghanooni Law Office. She manages the firm’s intake and case strategy. Running a small practice means she combines legal tasks with administrative responsibilities. She meets personally with most clients and handles many of the routine filings herself. Her practice size allows her to stay involved in each case from initial consultation through discharge or completion of a repayment plan.

Outside of direct representation, she follows developments in consumer bankruptcy law through her association memberships. The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers keeps her aware of case law shifts and procedural trends. The California Bar Association provides continuing legal education opportunities and state-specific guidance.

Her practice today centers on consumer bankruptcy and related consumer financial issues. She represents individuals in bankruptcy proceedings and advises them on options to address overwhelming debt. This remains the primary focus of her current practice.
