About Elham
Elham Sadri earned her law degree from Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law. Her time at Dickinson overlapped with practical work on immigrant rights and public-interest projects, experiences that shaped the early direction of her legal career. She combined classroom study with internships and research roles that placed her inside courtrooms and community organizations.
Her first legal internship came at the Centre County Court of Common Pleas in 2011. That was followed by a series of placements in 2012: a legal internship at MidPenn Legal Services, work as a research assistant for the Center for Immigrants Rights at Penn State, participation in a Civil Legal Representation Project, and volunteer advocacy for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors at the Centre County Women’s Resource Center. In 2017 she interned at Landau, Hess, Simon & Choi, gaining exposure to litigation and client counseling in a private-practice setting.
Sadri entered private practice as an associate in 2018, joining Rai & Associates. The next year she moved to the Law Office of Daniel Shanfield, Immigration Defense, PC, where she handled immigration-related matters and courtroom work. Those roles built on her public-interest background and added courtroom experience and case management responsibilities.
In 2020 she became principal of Sadri Law, PC. As principal she manages the firm’s day-to-day operations and represents clients in immigration cases. Her practice draws on years of hands-on experience: from intake and client interviews to brief writing and advocacy in administrative and judicial settings. She has worked with individuals on family-based petitions, removal defense, and applications for naturalization and other immigration relief. She also continues to handle matters that intersect with domestic-violence advocacy and public benefits where immigration status is involved.
Colleagues describe Sadri as an attorney who combines practical courtroom experience with community-oriented work. Her background in legal services and research informs how she approaches complex immigration questions and client counseling. She maintains her office at Sadri Law, PC, where she oversees casework and staff. Her current practice centers on immigration law, including family-based petitions, removal defense, and naturalization matters.
