About Eleanore M.

Eleanore M. Schenck attended Rutgers School of Law–Camden, where she completed her legal training before entering practice. Her education at Rutgers provided the foundation for a career spanning both New Jersey and New York. She continued to engage with legal issues after law school and has maintained ties to the region where she trained.

After law school, Schenck pursued admission to the bar in both neighboring states that share so much legal and commercial life. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and in New York. Those admissions allow her to handle matters that cross state lines and to represent clients under the procedural rules of two distinct court systems.

Over the years she has served clients in matters arising in each jurisdiction. Her work has required attention to state rules and local practice, and it has involved advising individuals and organizations on steps they must take under state law. She has navigated filings, correspondence and courtroom procedures in both states, adapting to differences in practice while aiming to keep matters moving efficiently.

Schenck’s career has taken place largely in the mid-Atlantic legal market. She has worked for and with a range of clients whose needs reflect the economic and civic life of New Jersey and New York. That background has informed how she approaches case preparation and client communication. She tends to prioritize clarity, steady timelines and straightforward explanations of next steps.

Today she maintains a practice that serves clients with matters in New Jersey and New York. Her experience in two state bars makes her familiar with the procedural and substantive shifts that can arise when a legal question touches both jurisdictions. She focuses her practice on matters in New Jersey and New York.
