About Edgar
Edgar Poghosyan studied law at MNJI, earning his first law degree in 2003 and completing a Master of Laws in 2006. He followed that academic work with practical training and later formal admission to the bar. His education established a foundation in legal research and analysis that has informed his work since.
He became a member of the California State Bar in 2013. That same year he opened the Law Office of Edgar Poghosyan and served as its principal lawyer. Running a solo practice required balancing client work with the administrative tasks that keep a small office functioning. Over time he handled the full range of responsibilities that come with leading a private practice.
In 2023 he co-founded Lawyers Incorporated. The move marked a shift from a solo practice toward a collaborative firm structure. As a co-founder he has taken part in shaping the firm’s operations and policies while remaining involved in client matters. His experience as a principal lawyer informed how the new firm was organized and staffed.
Poghosyan holds a Westlaw Training Certificate from West A Thomson Business. He has relied on legal research tools throughout his career to prepare filings and develop legal positions. Since his admission in 2013 he has practiced under the authority of the California bar and maintained that license in current standing.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his case preparation and attentive to procedural detail. He has managed docket calendars, drafted pleadings, and handled client communications across a variety of legal tasks. Running a firm has also required him to oversee billing, engagement agreements, and other aspects of legal operations.
Outside the office he remains connected to the professional community through his continued membership in the California State Bar. That membership ties him to developments in state rules and practice standards. In his current role at Lawyers Incorporated he divides time between firm management and direct client work in California. He currently practices at Lawyers Incorporated, focusing on legal matters for clients in California.
