About Ed
Ed Williams received his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law in 2016. He completed his legal studies after a concentrated period at the school and entered the practice of law soon afterward. His training at Mississippi College gave him a foundation in courtroom procedure, legal research and client advocacy.
He began his career in private practice, working on cases and matters that required hands-on problem solving and practical legal work. Those early years involved drafting pleadings, meeting clients and appearing in court. He developed routines for case preparation and client communication that have carried through his practice.
Over time Williams expanded his practice responsibilities. He has handled matters that combine negotiation, litigation preparation and transactional tasks. His day-to-day work has included counseling clients, managing case files and coordinating with opposing counsel and courts. He is comfortable in the detailed work of document review and the pressure of hearing dates.
Williams is an attorney at Calderon & Williams, PLLC. At the firm he works with colleagues to serve the firm’s clients, balancing office work with appearances when matters require. The firm’s name reflects the partnership structure, and he practices in that collaborative setting.
Colleagues and clients see him as pragmatic and direct in client conversations. He favors clear explanations over legal jargon. That approach guides his interactions with people who come to the firm looking for help through difficult or unfamiliar legal processes. He aims to present options plainly and to prepare clients for likely outcomes.
Outside of specific case work, Williams spends time refining pleadings and briefs. He places value on concise writing and orderly case files. That attention to detail is part of how he prepares for hearings and negotiations. It also shapes how he structures client intake and ongoing communication.
He continues to practice law at Calderon & Williams, PLLC, handling client representation, case preparation and dispute resolution work in his current practice.
