About E. Dale

E. Dale Jamieson built his foundation in business before turning to the law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Union University, earned in 1965. He then completed an MBA at Rollins College in 1970 and a Juris Doctor at the University of Memphis in 1973.

Those academic years shaped the contours of his professional life. The combination of business and legal training offers a practical frame for disputes that touch on finance, contracts and organizational issues. After finishing law school, Jamieson pursued admission to practice in Tennessee, where he is authorized to appear in court.

Jamieson is also a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator, a designation he earned through a program at Lipscomb University. That qualification permits him to serve as a court-approved mediator in the state and to handle mediation sessions that aim to resolve civil matters outside the courtroom. The training emphasizes neutrality, case management and facilitation skills.

Over the years, his background in business has informed the way he approaches legal problems. He often handles matters where business judgment and legal analysis intersect. This includes contract disputes, commercial disagreements and other cases where financial considerations are central to resolving the conflict.

Colleagues describe his work style as methodical. He prepares documents carefully and structures negotiations so parties can see the economic as well as the legal consequences of different choices. In mediation settings, he manages the process to keep discussions focused on practical outcomes rather than protracted litigation.

Jamieson’s record includes work in Tennessee courts and in alternative dispute resolution settings. He has been involved in both direct representation and mediated settlements. He maintains professional ties within the Tennessee legal community and participates in the processes that support court-referred mediation.

Today, E. Dale Jamieson remains active in Tennessee law and continues to conduct mediation work while advising clients on disputes that involve business and contractual issues. His current practice concentrates on mediation and other legal matters in Tennessee.
