About Ducchi T.
Ducchi T. Quan studied human behavior before he studied law. He earned a B.A. in psychology from the State University of New York in 1994. Five years later he received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, where he served on the law review.
After law school Quan established a practice that spans the Mid-Atlantic. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Those admissions shape how he handles cases and how he advises clients across state lines.
Quan’s memberships in the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association reflect the type of work he takes on. He represents individual clients in consumer bankruptcy matters and handles related litigation and counseling. His background in psychology informs his approach to client interviews and case strategy. He aims to explain options plainly and to set realistic expectations about timelines and outcomes.
On procedural matters Quan draws on his law review experience. Drafting and editing are familiar tasks. He approaches pleadings and motions with an eye for clear argument and concise citation. That skill set supports work in contested matters as well as routine filings.
Colleagues describe him as steady in court and methodical in preparation. He has taken part in local bar events and continuing education programs through the bankruptcy bar association. Those activities keep him current on rule changes and regional practice trends.
Quan works out of a main office in the region and represents clients in chapter filings, creditor negotiations and related post-filing matters. He handles case intake, document preparation and courtroom appearances. He also assists clients who are weighing alternatives to bankruptcy and those who need help after discharge.
His practice reflects a practical view of the law. He counsels clients about realistic outcomes and next steps. He continues to serve consumer bankruptcy clients across Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, handling filings, hearings and related disputes in those jurisdictions.
He currently practices consumer bankruptcy for individual clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
