About Drew
Drew Bruner read political science at Auburn University and then pursued law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, earning his J.D. in 2012. He spent time in law school gaining practical experience, including a 2011 role as a licensed legal intern with the Cleveland County District Lawyer's office. Those early postings shaped the way he approaches courtroom work and client matters today.
After law school, Bruner moved into private practice. In 2012 he began working as a lawyer at The Bruner Law Office. Over the years he has maintained a practice that reaches beyond a single state. He is admitted in multiple state bars and several federal courts, which allows him to handle cases in a range of forums.
Bruner's admissions include Minnesota, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the D.C. Circuit. Those credentials mean he appears in both trial and appellate settings when matters require it.
Professional involvement has been a steady part of his career. Bruner holds memberships in the Alabama State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of national organizations such as the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice, and regional groups including the Alabama Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association and the Okaloosa County Bar Association. He takes part in bar activities and continuing legal education through those memberships.
Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers clear, direct legal work. He prepares cases for court and engages in the procedural work that federal and state litigation often requires. His practice spans matters that must be litigated in state courts, federal trial courts and federal appellate courts, reflecting his range of admissions.
Bruner operates from The Bruner Law Office and has handled work in multiple jurisdictions over the course of his career. He continues to maintain active memberships in several bar and trial organizations and focuses his practice on matters that fall within the jurisdictions where he is admitted to appear.
