About Doron
Doron Eghbali completed his legal education at California Western School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2007 after undergraduate studies at Rutgers University–Newark where he graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science and Criminal Justice. His academic path combined classroom study with practical experience, shaping an early interest in courtroom work and public service.
He entered the profession through a series of hands-on roles. As a judicial extern in 2005, he worked at the Eighth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, gaining exposure to trial procedures and judicial decision-making. The following year he served as a law clerk at K&L Gates, when the office operated under the Fisher & Thurber name, assisting on research and case preparation. Early in his career he also spent time in Washington, D.C., as a legislative correspondent to U.S. Senator Ron Wyden in 2002, which gave him an inside look at how policy and law intersect.
Those experiences preceded his work in private practice. He is a senior partner and lawyer at Law Advocate Group, LLP. He is admitted to practice in California and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and he routinely handles matters filed in those forums. Over the years he has moved from staff roles into leadership, taking on client counseling, case strategy and courtroom responsibilities as part of his practice.
Eghbali keeps an active role in the local legal community. He holds membership in the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation. Since 2009 he has volunteered with the Mesereau Legal Clinic, providing pro bono services and contributing time to client intake and case work.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic. He balances a respect for precedent with attention to procedural detail. In court he focuses on clear presentation and practical solutions for clients. Outside the courtroom he has maintained ties to civic and bar groups, which inform how he evaluates cases and communicates legal options to those he represents.
He continues to practice at Law Advocate Group, LLP, representing clients in matters brought in California state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
