About Donivan
Donivan Flowers grew up in Texas and took a straight path into law after studying sociology at the University of Texas at Tyler, where he earned a B.S. in 2001. He returned to school a few years later and received his J.D. from the University of Houston in 2004. Those early academic choices framed a practice that mixes courtroom work with mediated settlements.
He began his legal career in 2004 at The Freeman Law Office. That early work gave him exposure to civil practice and client representation in an office setting. In 2010 he joined Mostyn Law Office, and a year later he worked at Arguello Hope & Associates. Each stop added different casework and courtroom experience. Since 2012 he has been at The Flowers Law Office, P.C., where he continues to handle cases and manage client matters.
Flowers is admitted to practice in Texas and before the Federal Circuit. Over the years he has combined litigation and alternative dispute resolution in his work. He has basic mediation certification from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center and an advanced family law mediation certificate from Manousso Mediation Training. Those certifications shape how he approaches disputes, particularly where negotiation can resolve issues sooner than a trial.
Colleagues and court records show a lawyer who moves between the courtroom and the conference room. He has handled contested matters and settlement talks. He also files and responds to appeals in federal settings where the Federal Circuit has jurisdiction. His background in sociology informs how he frames client stories for judges, juries and mediators alike.
Outside of court, Flowers’s resume reflects steady work within Texas practice settings. He has remained connected to local bar activity and legal education opportunities, and he draws on mediation training when preparing cases. He runs his practice from The Flowers Law Office, P.C., where he manages client intake, case strategy and ongoing litigation. He is currently licensed to practice and continues to represent clients in Texas and before the Federal Circuit, handling litigation and mediation matters, including family law mediation work.
