In 1991, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Louisiana State University, where he distinguished himself as a Regents Scholar and became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
His academic achievements laid a strong foundation for his legal career, which began shortly after he obtained his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1994. During his time at law school, he contributed to the American Indian Law Review and was recognized by the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for his academic excellence. Following law school, Harvey returned to the Orlando area and began his legal career at a small plaintiff's law firm in Winter Park. There, he focused on civil litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, and labor law. His experience in this environment developed his skills and broadened his knowledge of the legal field in Florida. In 1999, he took a significant step by founding Harvey Law LLC.
