Dominic M. Smith took a deliberate path into law. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2001 after attending law school beginning in 1999. After graduation he entered private practice, building experience across state lines. He is licensed to practice in both Minnesota and South Dakota, which has allowed him to serve clients whose lives and assets cross jurisdictional boundaries. Over time he narrowed his practice toward the issues raised by individuals planning for the future and families handling affairs after a loss.
Smith founded Legal Estate Planning Solutions, PLLC and serves as its owner and managing lawyer. He oversees case strategy and client intake, and he remains involved in drafting key documents.
