About Dmitriy

Dmitriy Panchenko moved from a finance classroom into a courtroom. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014 and completed his J.D. at Charlotte School of Law in 2016. The two degrees shape the practical approach he brings to cases.

At UNC Charlotte, Panchenko studied finance, a background that informs how he evaluates damages and transactional risk. He completed law school two years later. His legal training covered civil litigation and property law alongside trial practice. Those areas became the backbone of his early work as he steered a transition from financial analysis to legal advocacy.

Panchenko is licensed to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina. He has worked on matters that fall into two broad categories: personal injury and real estate. In personal injury, he has handled claims arising from vehicle collisions and premises incidents. On the real estate side, he has been involved in residential transactions and title questions. He represents clients on both sides of these matters, including individual claimants and property owners.

The day-to-day work requires both negotiation and courtroom time. Panchenko prepares pleadings and negotiates settlements. He also appears in hearings when disputes require a judge’s ruling. His finance background often comes into play when calculating loss or evaluating settlement offers. That blend of numeric analysis and advocacy helps clarify options for clients.

He practices from the Matthews Personal Injury and Real Estate Branch. The office handles intake, investigation, and the practical steps that move a file from initial consultation to resolution. Panchenko’s role ties case development to courtroom readiness. He aims to assemble the factual record and the legal arguments a client needs to pursue a recovery or to protect an interest in real property.

Outside the courtroom, he keeps current on developments in both state codes and case law in the Carolinas. He maintains the continuing legal education required to practice in multiple jurisdictions and applies those updates to ongoing matters. Colleagues describe him as methodical and straightforward in client communication.

In practice, Panchenko combines his finance training and legal education to handle personal injury claims and real estate matters. He currently practices in North Carolina and South Carolina, working out of the Matthews Personal Injury and Real Estate Branch office and serving clients in both states.
