About Dion U.
Dion U. Davi built a steady legal career in Illinois courts over more than two decades. He combined academic training in psychology and law, then moved quickly into practice. The result is a profile rooted in local courtrooms and community bar groups.
Davi earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School after completing a Bachelor of Science in psychology at DePaul University. Those academic steps informed how he approaches clients and cases. His education preceded a sequence of roles that placed him on both sides of the courtroom.
He opened his first solo practice in 2003, operating as Dion U. Davi, Ltd. The following year he joined the DuPage County State’s Lawyer’s Office as an Assistant State’s Lawyer, gaining frontline prosecutorial experience in county matters. In 2006 he worked as an associate at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, P.C., and then returned to solo practice before founding his current firm.
In 2012 Davi founded Davi Law Group, LLC and serves as its principal. The firm maintains offices across the Chicago suburbs, including Wheaton, Joliet, Chicago, Warrenville and Naperville. Over the years he has balanced private practice with active participation in local legal organizations.
His involvement in professional associations dates back to the mid-2000s. He has been associated with the Illinois State Bar Association since 2004 and joined the Kane County Bar Association in 2006. He was a member of the Robert E. Jones Inns of Court beginning in 2007 and has maintained ties to the Will County Bar Association since 2009 and the West Suburban Bar Association since 2012. He contributed to the Justinian Society of Lawyers’ newsletter starting in 2006 and served as the society’s president from 2010 to 2011. He also served on the DuPage County Bar Association’s Board of Directors from 2007 to 2012 and participated on the Illinois Bar Foundation’s Gala Program Committee from 2005 through 2011.
Those roles reflect steady engagement with peers and local legal institutions rather than a string of headlines. Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who has worked in government and private practice and who understands the procedural and community dimensions of law in Illinois. He concentrates on litigation and client representation in Illinois courts.
