About Dinh

Dinh Tran earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University in 2009. He arrived in the practice of law at a moment when immigration issues were moving quickly from courtrooms into headlines. His legal training at Mercer provided a foundation in litigation and administrative law that he has used in years of practice.

After law school he entered private practice and concentrated on immigration matters. Over time he became licensed to practice in both Georgia and North Carolina. That dual licensure has allowed him to represent clients in state and federal immigration-related matters across two neighboring jurisdictions.

Tran joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2014 and has maintained membership since then. Membership in the association connects him to continuing education, policy updates, and a network of peers who practice immigration law. He has used those resources to stay current on changing regulations and shifting enforcement priorities.

His work covers a broad sweep of immigration practice. He represents individuals and families before immigration agencies and in federal court when litigation is required. He prepares petitions, responds to notices from immigration authorities, and appears at hearings. Clients include people seeking visas, pursuing relief from removal, and applying for naturalization. He handles both casework and the procedural steps that immigration practice demands.

Colleagues describe him as steady in hearings and detail-oriented in preparing paperwork. He balances courtroom work with administrative advocacy. That balance reflects the realities of immigration practice, where client outcomes often depend as much on filings and interviews as on litigation strategy.

Tran is based at Queen City Immigration Law. There he works with clients on matters that cross state lines and immigration system boundaries. His practice has involved coordination with co-counsel, contacts with government agencies, and representation in both administrative and judicial settings.

Outside of direct representation he follows regulatory developments and case law that affect immigration practice. The field has seen rapid changes in recent years, and he has continued to adjust his approaches as policies evolve. He maintains active membership in professional circles that monitor those shifts.

As of 2026 he continues to handle immigration cases at Queen City Immigration Law, representing individuals and families in a range of immigration proceedings and applications.
