About Dianna
Dianna Caley is an attorney based in Kirkland, Washington, specializing in personal injury law. Licensed to practice in Washington since 1993, she has built a diverse legal portfolio over the years. Her areas of expertise now encompass family law, divorce, bankruptcy, business law, consumer law, employment law, estate planning, arbitration and mediation, civil rights, collections, education law, elder law, government and administrative law, and military law. Ms. Caley earned her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York in 1993, following her Bachelor of Arts degree from Evergreen State College in 1990. Her legal career began with the Colville Confederated Tribes in Grand Coulee, Washington, where she gained inexperience in tribal law.
Following this, she served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. In this role, she advised commanders on compliance with military, state, and federal regulations, enhancing her understanding of complex legal frameworks. After her military service, Ms. Caley worked for over a decade with a law firm affiliated with Wong Fleming. During this time, she handled numerous civil litigation matters and managed the family law department. Her dedication to her clients and her ability to navigate challenging legal fields led her to establish her own practice in Kirkland, where she successfully operated for more than eight years. This experience solidified her reputation as a skilled advocate in various legal fields.
In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Caley has developed a strong construction defect practice. She assists homeowners and buyers with issues related to builders and contractors, ensuring that her clients receive fair treatment. Her advisory services extend to both companies and individuals, covering areas such as contracts, corporate formation, employment law, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. Caley is frequently called upon to serve as an arbitrator by the courts. She was appointed as a panel mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Washington, and also serves as an arbitrator for FINRA on securities disputes. A member of the Washington State Bar Association, she contributed to the Continuing Legal Education Committee from October 1, 2016, to September 30, 2019.
