About Diane Renee
Diane Renee Broderson began her legal path after studying social services at Whitworth College, where she earned a B.L.S. in 2012. She went on to graduate from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2017. The combination of social-services training and legal education shaped the practical approach she brought to early work in the Spokane legal community.
Her first roles in the legal field were as a licensed legal intern in 2017. She split that year between work at a local law office and Gonzaga University’s legal assistance program, gaining hands-on experience with client interviews, case preparation and court procedures. That early courtroom and clinic work helped prepare her for private practice after bar completion.
In 2018 Broderson served as an associate lawyer at Farnsworth Law Office. She handled a range of matters for clients and built a caseload that included family-related disputes. The following year she joined Farnsworth Broderson, PLLC. She took on associate duties and, within the same year, assumed the role of managing partner. The move placed her in a leadership position at a small firm setting where she oversees casework and day-to-day operations.
Broderson has been active in professional organizations since shortly after law school. She has been a member of the Spokane County Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2016. Since 2021 she has been listed with the Domestic Relations Lawyers of Washington. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with peers and a regular presence at local bar events and continuing-education programs.
Her practice centers on family and domestic relations matters. She represents clients in divorce, child custody and support proceedings, and handles related court filings and negotiations. Broderson’s background in social services informs her handling of sensitive family issues and her interactions with clients, opposing counsel and courts.
At Farnsworth Broderson, PLLC she divides time between advocacy in court and preparation behind the scenes. Colleagues describe her as methodical and direct in courtroom settings. She currently concentrates her practice on family and domestic relations law.
