Diane Elizabeth Bond is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Bond serves as Senior Counsel at Blake Law Firm, a full-service law firm located in Encinitas, California. She has over 22 years of experience litigating in both state and federal courts, representing clients throughout Southern California.
Ms. Bond earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History. During her time at the University of San Diego School of Law, she participated in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in real estate and contract law.
Ms. Bond concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate law, contract disputes, construction law, mortgage banking, eminent domain, business law, and premises liability. She represents a diverse clientele, including loan servicers, banks, financial institutions, property owners, managers, developers, title and escrow companies, homeowners associations, and lessors and lessees of commercial and residential properties. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including mediation, arbitration, trial, and appellate work.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bond has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Blake Law Firm, she represented national banks and financial institutions in various matters, including loan disputes, foreclosure disputes, title disputes, eminent domain, easement, and property line disputes.
Ms. Bond is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. She is also a certified mediator through the San Diego County Superior Court mediation program. Ms. Bond is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
