About Diana
Diana Chang graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a degree in English. She went on to earn her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2012. Those academic years shaped her analytical habits and gave her a grounding in legal research and writing that she has carried into practice.
After law school, Chang entered private practice. She joined Fenwick & West LLP, where she has worked on a range of matters for corporate clients. Her time there has involved collaborating with teams across departments, managing complex assignments, and advising clients on legal questions that arise in fast-moving commercial contexts.
Colleagues describe her as methodical and direct. She approaches problems by breaking them into discrete issues, identifying the relevant law, and testing practical solutions. That style suits environments where deadlines matter and clients expect clear, usable advice.
Her work has required close attention to detail and an ability to translate technical or business concerns into legal terms. That has meant drafting agreements, reviewing regulatory developments, and preparing materials for decision makers. She has also taken part in internal trainings and mentorship arrangements, passing along skills she developed early in her career.
Chang is admitted to practice in California and works out of the firm’s California offices. She continues to practice there, representing clients and advising on transactional and corporate matters at Fenwick & West LLP in California.
