About Dennis Nyariki
Dennis Nyariki Siriba moved from clinical nursing into law in a deliberate career turn. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler in 2008, then returned to study law and earned a J.D. from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2017. The two different professional tracks shape how he approaches cases and client intake.
During law school he spent time inside the courthouse. In 2017 he served as a judicial intern for the 68th Civil District Court in Dallas County. That placement gave him firsthand experience observing trial practice, pretrial procedure and the pace of civil court dockets in a large urban county.
After law school he secured admission to practice in Texas and later obtained admission to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He maintains memberships in local and national bar groups, including the Dallas Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those affiliations provide ongoing opportunities for continuing legal education and local networking.
His association record shows interest in trial work and immigration law. He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2019 and became a member of both the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association in 2021. The memberships reflect areas where he has sought professional development and peer engagement.
Siriba practices from the Siriba Law Office. The office is a Texas-based practice that files and defends matters in state courts and, when appropriate, pursues appellate review in the Fifth Circuit. His background in nursing informs his review of medical records and client interviews when health issues are relevant to a claim. The combination of courtroom observation as an intern and the continuing membership in trial organizations underpins his courtroom work.
Colleagues and associates describe him as methodical. He prefers to build cases through document review and careful preparation rather than relying on rhetoric alone. His professional path reflects a mix of clinical training and legal procedure, a combination he uses when evaluating evidence and advising clients.
He is active in the bar and in trial and immigration professional groups. His current practice concentrates on civil litigation and immigration matters at the Siriba Law Office.
